An exhibition of work created by the LGAC Alzheimers and befrienders art group
Touring Exhibition

For over years LGAC have run weekly art classes for young dementia suffers and their befrienders. Our “living with dementia” project aims to provide an environment to explore creative ideas. The arts can have a profound effect on the health and well-being of not only those taking part, but also their family and friends. The mixed media work produced for the ART-zheimers exhibition illustrates the creativity and technical accomplishment of the group. The key to the exhibition is that it illustrates the life affirming properties of the creative process.
