Justine Allison

Language of Clay: Shifting Lines

Orief Brif

01 Rhagfyr 2018 tan 19 Ionawr 2019

Mae llestri cymhleth Justine Allison yn huawdl ac yn ddyrchafol. Mae golau yn cael ei dynnu atyn nhw, yn cael ei ddal, ac yn pelydru oddi wrthyn nhw. Mae llonyddwch i waith Justine sy’n adlewyrchu proses fyfyriol ei wneuthuriad a gosgeiddrwydd y ffurfiau gorffenedig. Mae gan Justine ei hiaith glai unigryw. Mae ei cherameg yn dangos cydbwysedd rhwng y swyddogaethol a’r cerfluniol, ac mae’n gyfoethog ac yn wreiddiol. Am fod ganddi ddealltwriaeth ddofn o’u defnyddiau ac estheteg weledol gaboledig, mae llestri Justine yn gyflawn.

Mae Shifting Lines yn arddangosfa yn y gyfres The Language of Clay, sef Menter Deithiol Genedlaethol Oriel Mission Gallery a guradwyd gan Ceri Jones.

Sanctuary

Sanctuary

Oriel 3

01 Rhagfyr 2018 tan 19 Ionawr 2019

Sanctuary is a celebration of natural materials and their place in our homes and hearts. Creating a space that is warm and welcoming, counteracting our busy day-to-day lives, using textures such as soft leather, linen, warm wool, rustic wood and ceramics creating an oasis of calm. Understated, functional, elegant and above all a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the modern world.

Fern Robinson

Fern Robinson

Arddangosfa Gemwaith

01 Rhagfyr 2018 tan 19 Ionawr 2019

Fern Robinson’s jewellery was first inspired by the simplicity of a child’s interaction with objects, which began her fascination with the urge we have to touch and play.

The pieces are childishly sophisticated with vibrant shards of crayon in tactile resin that aim to create a uniquely fun relationship between jewellery and owner.
